Artist Bio

Throughout artist PRA’s life, she has always looked for the light… The light and the colors of the world inspire as well as comfort her.  Dabbling in a number of artistic adventures, writing, poetry, acrylics, mixed media, glass etching, tiles, and now marbles; the driving force was to capture for a moment the absolute wonder of creation.

PRA’s inspiration comes from her view of the world…  The world is bodacious!  If for one moment the light of life does not shine for you, then you are not living! In every artistic attempt, it is the light she seeks, and with these marble creations, she has managed to fuse magical dancing light into practical use and “re-purpose”.  (See the blog for how some of these pieces began!)  One of a kind, each marble creation is hand designed and finished.  No two are ever exactly the same just as no two marbles are ever the same!

Light the candle and see the colors of the marbles dance! Marbles seem to catch the ubiquitous nature of light, prismatic, brilliant, and soft, lulling us into reflections of our life and others.  Each piece is unique and transcends expectations of a typical lamp, clock, vase, table or candle holder.   Not only will a PRA creation find a place in your home, it will find a place in your heart for that is where the light of life lives!
